I have a client that has been with me for about 5 months. We are progressing in all areas except her in thigh. Any suggestions?
Rodney, to me it sounds like you’re on the “right track.” If your client is progressing, then I say “keep up the good work.” What I always tell my clients is that “while spot reduction won’t really work, we will usually see progress FIRST in the areas of their body that needs it the least.” It’s the harder spots that will see results last (for example, let’s say that’s she’s reduced her body fat by 3 percent since working with you, well the loss attributable to the an area where she has the most excess fat will hardly be noticeable at first, whereas that same amount of loss from an area with little excess fat will shine through quickly! But, this doesn’t mean that what you’re doing with her isn’t working, it just may take a bit longer to show in those areas with the most to lose. The fact that you’re seeing progress means that what you’re doing is probably working. Keep it up, of course with appropriate progressions and changes as necessary. It will be when your client least expects it that she’ll begin to see the desired results in her thighs!
I hope that this helps.
