I have a 87 year old client who suffered major blood loss and a stroke.

Hi Shane,
His caring physician should have placed him in a rehab facility or at least set him up with outpatient or in-home physical therapy. Something doesn’t sound right here. He (or a family member)needs to get back to the physician who initially treated him & get to the bottom of that. I hope everything works out for him Shane.

It sounds like this needs to go back to the person’s physician for referral to a Physical Therapist. If this has already been done, then the person needs clearance for working with anyone else. I work post rehab with a variety of neurological clients, but everyone is pre-cleared to work with me and guidelines for programming are requested and followed.
