Like most fitness equipment, I enjoy using them in moderation (both with clients and for my own workouts).
I think that Joshua brings up some good points:
1) Dynamax balls are a bit pricey for what it is you’re getting. The good news, however, is that they’re durable and can take quite a beating over time when used for slams, throws, etc.
2) SandBells are an awesome alternative and can be used for virtually the same types of exercises as Dynamax balls. Plus, I’ve found that clients with smaller hands can often hold SandBells much easier.
Susan, what would you say are the top three things you love about your Dynamax Medicine Balls?
Look forward to reading your response!
I use both. The Dynamax are great because of their size and my clients love them, but the regular medicine balls are easier to transport. I use them for some core exercises and I think they are easier to throw and catch because they are softer than the regular medicine balls.
