Hi Jerry. The answer to your question is “it depends on who is asking.” By this I mean that in certain circles this is VERY important, but in others not so much. Our industry is very broad, and the credentials and certifications that we can obtain are varied. In some portions of our industry, this type of accreditation is vital and required; but, not in all segments of our industry.

In my opinion, it’s very important when someone is looking to hire a trainer that holds some type of a certification. Our industry offers a variety of certifications, so an NCCA accreditation serves as the starting point when someone is looking either to get certified or for a certified professional.
