I am in need of software that allows me to design fitness programs and either show onliner or print for clients
Hi David,
I wanted to follow up on your question from a few months ago and let you know that the
IDEA Workout Builder tool on ideafit.com (www.ideafit.com/exercise-library) is now live.
Here is a little more information on how it works:
– Simple way to create, share and print workouts
– Easy drag and drop interface
– Over 1,300 exercises (with videos) to choose from
– Works on every device (tablets, smartphones, etc)
– Share workout via email, facebook and twitter
– Is automatically included in Personal Trainer, Business and Premium Access membership categories
If you do not have access and want to check it out, you can sign up for a 30 day free trial here https://www.ideafit.com/workout-builder
If you don’t mind spending the money I like web exercise.com you are able to add your own logo as well as send a username and password to your client to assist your client in seeing the exercise done in privacy. If you are using an iPad there are multiple exercise apps out their but the one I like the most is iMuscle. It’s available for Apple and Androids cell phone.
I have also used PT on the Net.com and even uploaded some of my own custom exercises. It was clunky enough and lacking enough of my own specialized exercises that I finally just made my own library and use Word, then convert to PDF to send to my clients. They are able to view on ipad or smartphone, so it works well for them. Very labor intensive for me, but at least I was able to send pictures and descriptions of EXACTLY what I wanted my clients to be doing instead of having to constantly tweak somebody elses stuff. I will also be interested to see what IDEA comes up with.
I use PTonthenet.com. You can choose from their templates or write your own. They have a good variety of exercises to choose from, and you can also import your own. You can e-mail it or print it for your client. It is a bit clunky to use, but right now it is the best I have found. I am looking forward to seeing IDEA’s version.
