you have to meet the clients where they are. After all, walking is a workout, too. You may be able to sneak a few other things in but remember that you are still doing the client a favor if he or she walks rather than do nothing at all.

Nothing wrong with that. I walk with clients which always turns into a conversation of health education. If you listen, you will find out what makes them tick as they become more familiar and comfortable around you. Enjoy the time with them and watch them grow into health and fitness enthusiasts.
