How to gain weight & muscle the healthy way?
Hello everyone,
I started my weight loss journey about 7 months ago. My starting weight was 135, now I’m currently, 105.7. Needless to say I am not happy with my appearance. I use to to be curvy; now I feel saggy. I started lifting weights. But I’m unsure of what exactly to do. I also don’t know how clean to eat. I was eating 100% clean. Now, not so much. I want build muscle. I want bigger thighs & buttocks. I also want to be at least 115-120 pounds.
I am:
5’0
Petite frame
I’m also bigger on my thighs and butt area and my top is much smaller.
For the larger Thighs and Buttocks I suggest Isolating your Quads, Adductor, Hamstrings, and Glutes with certain exercises, and then most importantly hitting Compound exercises like Weighted Squats and Lunges. Work Lower Body hard one day then rest at least 72 hours before training your legs again, to let them rest and grow. I hope this info helps.
Sincerely,

Hi Lilly,

My name is Jacob Rodriguez and I am a certified personal trainer with experience in meal planning for specific fitness goals. Most of how you look is due to what you eat. In order to put lean muscle on and at the same time keep your body fat % is dependent on how you manage your macro nutrients being your Carbohydrates, Proteins, Fats and at the same time not ignoring your micro-nutrients coming from vegetables and other food sources. This coupled with Resistance Training and substantial cardio will most likely see you get your curvy figure back. If you have any questions or interest in meal planning go ahead visit my profile and contact me at [email protected] if you like.
The main thing is consistency. Start reading books and trying different programs. It sounds like you want a hypertrophy program for your thighs & buttocks. Have another trainer watch your form and look for muscle imbalances that could be making things harder. Good Luck
