I have found alot of information on how to get a corporate fitness class into a facilty but not alot on pricing. I can’t find alot in my area either to compare to. I live in Illinois and i am starting a wellness company that contracts out instructors to facilities. I am trying to figure out if we should charge a flat hourly rate or per person. Has anyone worked in this area and have an idea of what would be best. Thanks
When I provided classes to my corporate clients I charged a flat rate. This way I didn’t worry much about the number of people showing up
(even though I could have made a lot more per hour if I was charging per person). If you are going to hire others to do some of these classes, it might be a better option for you to charge a flat rate, so you can pay your people. Depending on how much you want to make and what your expenses are, it would determine the rate you will charge.
I hope this helps.
Generally the higher the quality of work the more you charge.
Also how much is training normally cost in your area. Like in home personal training. If it is normally about $70 a session in LA area then $100 a session may be just right to on the low side. Yet as High as $150 for an hour.
Remember to tell them all about the benefits. Lose weight, feel better, less sick days, happier workers, more productive workers cuz more energy. Telling them all the benefits over and over will give what you are offer them VALUE. High Value. That way you can charge more. Be confident. You can help them and it is worth it for them to pay you over $100 a session.
