When I started out, I did all my own marketing. I spent hours at the computer creating flyers, ads, website content, etc. It was valuable in terms of learning what worked and what didn’t, and how much time was needed to spend working “on” the business rather than just “in” the business. As my schedule filled up, I realized not only was my time valuable, but I needed people who had greater expertise to do my marketing. So “Is it worth the money?” I feel that it is. You may not always strike gold with the person you hire. But your time is valuable. And when you get the right person, it can truly boost your business to the next level.
