How long does it take to complete Personal Training course and certification?
Hi Sandi,
that depends in large parts on the knowledge you are bringing into the process. If you read through the material and all is completely clear, then it should only take as long as you need to read it all and go through whatever tests and quizzes there are. I don’t think that there is a ‘reasonable minimum time frame’. You could sign up today and take the exam tomorrow.

It totally depends on the certification you are studying for. Some are much more difficult than others. Some cover a lot but in general terms others cover more specifics.
I suggest taking the online test questions and study in a variety of ways. How you study is more important than the time frame, some people can retain information better than others.
Most Nationally Accredited Certifications a comprehensive. You need to know everything.
Hello Sandi Fanelli,
It is different for everyone.
If you do nothing but study, it could probably be done in half the time; but, how much is retained? This all depends on how much of the content you know before starting the course, also.
I personally like to take all the time or more, to make sure I understand the material completely.
While working, it is harder to find the time to study, leaving any down time to relax in the dust, until exam time.
Then, we are constantly studying and learning after any and all exams, anyway.
Enjoy your studies.
Take care,
Natalie.
