How do you stay motivated?
Hello Erin,
I stay motivated in fitness by learning new things. Often times I learn about myself, and then relay this to my clients. I stay up on the latest research in my niche and share my knowledge. If I see something that can add value I absorb it. Teaching keeps me motivated, adding value to other’s lives keeps me motivated.
Hi Erin,
I find it a lot easier to enjoy ‘life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness’ when I feel well, and exercise and a diet that is right for me are means to this end.
I also derive motivation from my awareness of being a role model for others. I know that my clients and my group exercise participants look up to me and that my words have often great weight with them. I feel an obligation to ‘walk the walk’ and lead by example.
Hi Erin. My main motivation is to enjoy my life. Exercise, staying as healthy as I can, controlling what I can control and letting go of the things that I can’t (i.e. trying to stay stress-free), and having an appreciation for the simple pleasures in life are ALL a part of that enjoyment of life to me. They are all a means to an end. Life is truly short, and as far as I know, we only go around once in this life, so I’m HIGHLY MOTIVATED to make it the best life that I can!
