Be realistic about your own fitness goals. Create your own S.M.A.R.T goals. If you are having trouble getting motivated, you may need reevaluate your goal and how much time you really need to reach that goal without it interrupting your work, family and other lifestyle activities.
I have found my ultimate goal is not feasible as this time because of work, family and other things I have going on in life. So rather than being stressed about trying to get motivated and getting my workouts done in time, I tried breaking that big goal into smaller yet challenging goals so I am not as overwhelmed and stressed.
