Tony, my approach is definitely not for everyone, however, it works well for me.
I always keep a pair of Kangoo Jumps either in my truck or at home. You might have seen Kangoo Jumps before. If you haven’t google www.kangoojumps.com.
I make all of my necessary running about that is not connected to work my time to train.
Kangoo Jumps are low impact shoes that allow the wearer to engage in high intensity low impact activity anywhere When I go grocery shopping I wear them, when I travel, I wear them, when I go out to the park I wear them.
Another thing that I do is do things that I find enjoyable. for example, this summer I am learning to ride a unicycle and I am learning it is an incredible core workout. A workout doesn’t have to be traditional.
One thing that is a constant in my life is that I take time to stretch every morning. If only for about 10-15 minutes, I stretch.
Break it up. Do a little everyday and make it fun. Try something new and you’ll stay motivated.
All the best!
