how do you get leads
Hi Debbie,
This is one place to get leads–here on IDEA FitnessConnect. I have found that the best leads come from referrals. Others who have used your services and can give you a good testimonial. You may also make some good connections and get some leads through your LinkedIn profile. Keep networking and adding to your profile. There are also other personal trainer websites where you can list your profile.
Also, since you have a corrective exercise certification, you may want to make connections with local medical professionals such as physical therapists and/or chiropractors. Hope these suggestions help you.
Sometimes you just don’t know where the leads will come from….good luck to you!
Christine
I get some business from my profile here on IDEAfit. Most of my business comes from referrals. My business is exactly the size I need it to be right now so I do very little marketing to new clients. When I am seeking leads for new clients, I still have the most success through my network, by asking existing clients to suggest me to others.
Hi Debbie,
looking at your profile, you have not been a trainer for a long time. While client referrals are a great source for trainers, that does not help when you do not have a client. However, you are working at a gym which probably has personal training.
Giving new member orientations is a way of demonstrating to a new member that you know what you are doing and the potential value as a trainer. I saw that you are about to get certified in yoga, and this is something that lends itself to a class setting where you will have more exposure than just working on the exercise floor.
I saw that you have Linked-in as an additional profile. I would suggest that you create a website where you can provide more information about yourself and what you do.
