How do I use a tablet to my advantage for Personal Training Sessions?
I recently purchased my first tablet (I know I’m behind the times but I only have five client’s and really had no need for a tablet at home). Until this point, I created clients workouts on my PC. I would print a hard copy and take it with me to the session. I would use that a copy for 4-6 weeks, make notes on it as we progressed. I would then update workout in my PC and make a new copy. Now that I have a tablet, I would like to take the tablet with me and eliminate the hard copy of the workout. Any suggestions on how to get the workout from my PC to the tablet.. software, apps – what do I need to make the tablet work for me?
Hi Heather,
I give my clients workouts in the form of a PDF file which they pull up on their phone, and you could to do the same with your tablet.
I was wondering, though, why you thought you were behind the times. As you noticed, just getting a new device is of no use at all.
It would have served you better to decide in what way you want to re-organize the way you do things, and then get the device that best serves your purpose. Now you find yourself in a situation where the tail is wagging the dog. You have a device that is largely incompatible with what you are doing and are making adjustments so that your business process fits the tool you bought.
