I assume that you got yourself re-certified before your certification expired.
You actually have to wait to the actual expiration date. You will then get an option to verify the certification which will get you into a screen where you can enter your new credentials.
I’ve never had to update the expiration dates of my cents–it has been done automatically (Must be once they are confirmed and verified by the organization it gets updated on IDEA.. That is, as long as it is recognized). I have two certs with ACE and this is done automatically. My AFAA cents are not available for this reporting.
It may different for other certs….
