Some of these may have already been covered above, but here are a few simple marketing ideas that can help attract more members:
1. Create and promote a Facebook Page for your business: Make sure you keep it updated with content regularly, and tap into your ideal client’s questions and goals. Invite your entire contact list to ‘Like’ your page.
2. Share member success stories on social media: Tweet a client’s latest milestone (with their permission), post a fun photo on Instagram of a training session. Consistently make your gym look like a fun, positive place to work out.
3. Form a partnership with a local business: Target spas, massage therapists, sporty clothing stores – anything that has a connection to the services you provide. Agree to promote each other by word-of-mouth, or post an offer on your websites where if someone purchases ‘x’ they receive ‘x’ from the other business.
4. Host a ‘Bring Your BFF’ event: Invite your members to bring an interested friend in to your gym or studio for an afternoon or evening of snacks and demonstrations from your trainers.

Have you tried partnering with businesses in your area? You could set up an agreement where they offer their clientele a promo to your business and you offer yours a discount to their business. Each business can promote your promo both in their store, on their website, and on their social media pages – extending your local reach.
You can also get involved with your community outside of working with local businesses. Participate in local events to help get the word out.
Another great way to attract new clients is to get your current clients involved. Ask them to recommend your business to others. You can even start a referral program that will reward current members for any new people they bring into your business. Not only will you get new business, but you’ll help to retain your current clients.
