The advice above is excellent and I’m sure all of us who have started a business have experienced the same challenges you are. Getting new clients really consists of two main steps, prospecting and closing. Sue has given you a great set of prospecting options (these are the activities that generate an enquiry). As you test these things out you will find which ones work best for you and your business. Make sure you track where the enquiry comes from. It provides some useful information as to where to direct your future marketing / prospecting activities.
The second thing is closing. This is where someone becomes a customer. I will say right now, that there can be a bit of a lag between an enquiry and a sale. You need to ensure you have a few steps in between for those potential clients who are not quite ready to become paying clients yet. Sign them up for an e-newsletter, offer a free body composition consultation, etc. Just something to keep progressing them through your sales funnel.
Good luck Jennifer
