How do I find a private gym/studio in my area that will rent to me hourly or monthly?
Hi Bridget,
have you tried this web site here? You can search ‘Find a Gym’ within FitnessConnect. I did that based on the ZIP code on your profile, and a whole list of facilities (including personal training studios) were springing up.
Wish you good luck.

Hello, I used my human friends network to help me find my original location. Being vocal with others in the profession will definitely aid you.
Other than that, I have used this resource to search local resources or let your feet hit the streets. This is part of the work that goes in to being “independent,” not really hard laborious work but time consuming.
If you find a local don’t just settle b’cause u have been looking & finally found a location or two, can wind up being the worst mistake u could make… trust me here
LOCATION MATTERS!!!!!!
I suggest you do a google search for gyms/studios in your area. Once you have a list, then create a resume and stop by the studio/gym location to drop it off. If it’s a large gym then you might need to contact the manager to fill out an application. As a studio owner, I appreciate the time and attention it takes to visit my studio to introduce yourself and ask questions. An owner may not have an opening right that moment, but they will remember you vs. just getting a generic email inquiry.
