How can we educate the “average” person about proper gym etiquette?
It seems that whenever I use a gym facility I always see the same scenarios:People using a bench to rest their weight in between sets, people sitting on a bench talking, people dropping their weights after grunting.
Is there not any review for patrons when they join a gym?
I personally only train outdoors, so when I am forced inside I find so many interesting human behaviors going on other than actual working out.
Always mention it to management or nothing will usually get the proper attention. If it is your facility, say something everytime and the word will spread quick. Pay special attention to your regular rats as they typically feel a special connection to “Their” facility and enjoy upholding the code to set the example; almost like unpaid employees. Reward this behavior too, they mean more to the facility than is often recognized.
