How can I get my fitness philosophy certified? Or Create a certification?
Hi Brandy,
to many of us, having a certification that is NCCA accredited has more weight. Have you looked at their processes? Here is a link http://www.credentialingexcellence.org/ncca.
Good luck.

Hi Brandy,
What is your philosophy and why is it so different (from other methods already out there) that it will require others to get certified in order to teach it?
If you want to create a certification for your philosophy or training method, then you will need to come up with the rules, the teaching methods and manuals that will require other to follow. You need to provide scientific data why your philosophy is so unique that others will follow it and teach it to others. Then you will need to decide who gets certified, come up with a testing method, the different levels of certification you want to provide and the standards that others have to qualify under in order to be accepted so they can take your certification. What will the prerequisites need to be in order to be accepted to your certification? I’m sure you will not want everybody out there to be applying for your certification if they don’t meet the minimum standards, because then you are taking value and credibility away from your certification. And of course, you will have to decide what the fees will be for the certification.
You will need to present your philosophy to the public, so it will become known and attract the attention needed in order for you to promote and grow that certification and your philosophy or training style. These are some of the things you have to consider if you wish to offer such a certification.
I hope this helps.
Best,
Harris
