Love all the answers. I grew my business by offering free lectures. I went to women’s organizations, religious groups, etc…Did you join your local chamber of commerce? That’s a great way to network. They usually have monthly breakfasts, leads groups, after hours networking, etc… Where in FL are you?

I do sympathize. I recently left a very successful in-home personal training business in NJ(which I hate) to start over again in TX(which I love). It has not been easy. I have received almost no cooperation from doctors(150), physical therapists(25), hair salons(10), tanning salons(2), golf courses(6), etc. despite well written letters/e-mails and professional brochures sent to them. Businesses here do not want to help out in any way, even when I offer to PAY them to put my brochures in their locations or offer them FREE training to see what I am about. That being said, I carry on the fight with my website, magazine ads, very targeted direct mail postcards, going to social events, and other paid for advertising. I won’t give up, and neither should you.
