Just out of curiosity, who told you to do that? If it were anyone other than your physician or a Dietician, I wouldn’t be so quick to do that. It certainly doesn’t sound like a Dietician’s or a Physician’s recommendation to me since it’s way too vague (although some Physicians can be with dietary recommendations). Anyway, to give you an answer, I agree with the recommendations you’ve gotten so far. Stick with the leaner sources – chicken, turkey, fish, etc. I would avoid protein bars & supplements & stick with real food – the quality of protein is much better.
