Hi everyone, can anyone tell me about how many hours of studing is required to pass ACE’s Health Coach Certification exam? Thnx!
This is a difficult question. It depends on your personal needs. U could advise you to visit how to end an essay at https://studymoose.com/how-to-end-an-essay for this purpose. This could probably help you with this problem. Hope that my advice would be useful.
Hello Charise Parker,
I studied for three months solid, three hours a day. The personal trainer course supplies the base knowledge which took longer through the community college and self study. Do not take it lightly, study, study and study what you are not fully comfortable with and you will be fine. After answering the first few questions of the exam, my test taking anxiety started to calm down.
Anything worth doing is worth doing well the first time; so, study and use all resources available to you, including us. ACE is always very helpful in the most pleasant way; ask them for help if you have any questions, also.
Good luck to you,
Natalie aka NAPS 2 B Fit.
To answer Nancy’s question, I probably studied more for the ACE personal training exam because a lot of the information was new to me and I did not know what to expect from ACE.
For the health coach exam, I knew it would be challenging, but also felt I had a base of information to work from. So, I spent more time on the new information and any areas where I was weak. I meant to give myself 6 months, but it came down to 3 for me, but I was really at the books every night. Read through the manual 2x, did the workbook, and took practice tests.
Very challenging, but doable and worth it!
I spent six months or so studying for the Health Coach exam. I re-read the book, did the study guide, practiced flash cards, and did the practice test. About a month and a half before the test I made sure I was studying at least an hour a day. (I also think I have test anxiety so I was really nervous!) As mentioned above the test was REALLY hard. The information isn’t a whole lot of stuff from memory. Luckily I passed though! Good luck with your test and I totally agree, go in over prepared.
