If you are going to offer a class at an office location, it might be best to bring your own equipment (if you have enough for the number of participants you are planning to allow into your classes). At least that’s what I did when I offered classes at a similar environment. I charged a flat fee which the companies paid me and I didn’t have to worry about the participants bringing money to pay for the class or have their equipment or if enough of them would show up in order to make my trip worth my time. I’m sure others here will have different experiences and advises to offer you.
I’d also bring my own equipment. If participants are already at work, it may be difficult for them to store or carry the equipment with them. You want to decrease the amount of objections or excuses for why they can’t attend the class. The more things they’re responsible for, the more likely they won’t attend.
I’d also price the class with the considerations of: minimum amount I’d want to make for my time, including travel. Cost to cover materials for the class. What the going class rate is in your area. Etc.
Good luck with the class!
