Hello everyone, I have a lil concern, should I keep certification up on my IDEA profile if they not a verifying agency
Hi Delmar,
even though some agencies do not want to be associated with IDEA, you should still list your credentials. You have the opportunity in your profile description to elaborate on it if you like. I know it looks unsatisfactory to have an “Agency unavailable” indicator but as long as your other certifications are verified, I would not have any problem as a consumer.

Most definitely. I had several things on my profile that took some time to get verified. But I just kept trying to get them verified. Eventually they all did get verified, not sure how or why.
But several people have contacted me through the fitness connect system. None of them mentioned the “unverified” status certifications. I actually asked the ones that have become clients if that was a worry for them. All said “no”, they assumed it was some sort of IDEA issue, not that the certs weren’t valid.
