I was told fans in a group x class helps to circulate the air and maintain a healthier, cleaner environment. Is this not true? Are fans beneficial? I’ve tried to teach without them and I almost passed out after 15 minutes of a 60 minute class. Members think they are losing more weight with the fans off since they sweat more.
Many people mistakenly believe the myth that sweating helps with weight loss. If people do not like the fans suggest they position themselves further away. You can also point out that it is easier to work harder when the body is not overheated, and they will burn more calories that way.
