I used to run a class that would travel through a large park in town. Along the way there are benches, stairs and other similar elements that we’d use to perform various exercises. We’d make a big loop–the route would change each time to prevent boredom–and end up back at the start within the hour. I’d plan each trip so that we’d pass by water fountains at least every ten minutes so the class wouldn’t have to worry about lugging around water bottles if they didn’t want to.
This is a really elaborate park that tourists travel to visit so it was a great way to get exercise and enjoy our local sites.
It was pretty popular.
However, you have to have people who are relatively close in physical capacity or you’d risk others falling behind and losing the way.
