Have any sexy names to call a basic Pilates and yoga stretch class?
Thank you all for your valid points. Yes, I do think a sporty name may be better than a sexy name…My class is called Gentle Stretch and Core Strength, its at 10:30 am in the morning and it’s part of a Wellness Program sponsored by a hospital. Clients age run 40+ years old. However most of my clients are 60+. I do want to attract the 40 year old. I have called the class Strength Fusion and Pilates with Weights over the years. It just appears that clientele love the aerobics and strength training classes and not so much the Pilates classes! It goes in ebb and flows. But I think a name change and new description is warranted. I need new people. Participants are often sick or people move away, have surgery, start working, etc. Whether my perceptions are unfounded it just appears that clientele like new and trendy classes and not the same old, same old.
