That is a good question. Are you able to try the room out to find out for yourself? I do not see any reason for contraindication as long as the proper mats are used and the system is working properly. It should feel like a warm brick, the heat is supposed to be radiant. I never have a problem working above a wood stove which heats the floor more directly.
