I use the iPad daily. I have docstogo app where I store all my clients information, workout cards, etc. Docstogo allows you to open, update and create word, excel and PowerPoint files. You can also view and save pictures, so any hard copies you can scan in and save in docstogo.
I also keep my calendar in google calendars so I can access it easily from my iPad, and you can give your clients viewing access too in case they want to see when your free (which means a lot less texting back and forth to negotiate availability).

Hello Laura,

To make a good use of your iPad as a fitness business tool, you can download Fitness Apps to your iPad (some for free). I've heard about FitnessBuilder Pro but I have never used it... I believe there are many other tools such as Spread sheets (Excel) that you can use to design your clients exercise fitness program, etc.

In good Health,

Lucas Varella

Fitness builder pro is the best app I have ever purchased. It is the sole reason I bought an iPad. It's amazing!

I use SOAP Notes for the iPad to organize my clients and each client session. The stamps feature makes it easy for me to paste in my pre-designed routines quickly.

I hate to admit it, but I also like that the app works for iPhone (and has cloud storage), so I can use my iPhone when I forget my iPad at home!

Squareup.com looks interesting, but security can be an issue in many levels.

Yes I use my tablet to show demo videos of exercises, shoot demo videos and share them via social media. I also use it for price presentation and I use it for scheduling on the floor
