I am interested in completing a movement screen cert. Does anyone have any experience with either FMS or 3D Maps?
It seems that the FMS is more popular. One thing I am not sure of do you need to purchase the FMS kits once completed. I presume you do have to you can conduct screenings using the FMS principles. Seems a bit expensive at $500 for the kit. Perhaps 3D Maps is more practical as the screening needs no extra equipment
Any help appreciated.
I would also have to agree with Denny. I am FMS and 3DMAPS certified and completed a fellowship at the Gray Institute. The FMS is much more practical. To put in kind of the words Gray Cook might use… The FMS is similar to a basic blood pressure reading, where as the 3DMAPS takes a bit more experience and time but has the capability of discovering the actual pattern (cause) of dysfunction and then various success codes to treat.
Also curious as to which you chose?
