Fitness Fundraisers – what has worked for you?
Hi Nancy,
we have an organization called ‘Foundation of Hope’ which raises money for research of mental illness. I have taught ‘MELT for Hope’ classes which raised quite a bit of money.

Hi Nancy,
I have no association with this website, but it’s the best resource I’ve come across for fundraising activities (has over 100 of them).
Here’s the link: www.better-fundraising-ideas.com/list-of-fundraising-ideas.html. My favourite one is the “Charity Parachute Jump”. Your gym could organise it for their members and give parachute themed exercise classes leading up to the jump date. It would probably get some free PR (local press would want to write about it).
Om Shanti,
