Is there a ‘best’? There are a few elements that are probably good for this group, but like any other group members of this group will share membership in other groups as well. So a premenopausal woman who is a competitive runner will be different from a premenopausal woman who is a non exerciser and different again from a premenopausal woman who has an autoimmune condition. That is the beauty, as well as the challenge of those who do ‘personal’ training, or those (like me) who teach mind body, or other disciplines…. each person needs to be seen as a member of a number of groups that meld and interact… and ultimately needs an individualized program.
