Feedback or suggestions on commercial strength equipment?
We are in the process of replacing some out dated and older commercial selectorized weight equipment. I am looking for feedback on brands that you have had success with, or even brands you’d recommend staying away from. Our vendor is recommending the Hoist Roc-It line, but I am a little nervous about all the moving parts… THANK YOU for any insights!
One of the gyms where I work replaced its out-dated equipment with Free Motion. It’s wonderful.

We have two of the cable cross machines, which I use frequently with my small group training classes. We also have the full suite of their selectorized machines. If you’re going to put someone on a machine, these ones are good because each arm is on a separate pulley for the upper body exercises. That makes some of the imbalances we typically carry from right to left side correctable because you’ll be able to tell instantly if you’re pulling or pushing harder with one arm, and make th eother arm catch up.
