I often use cuffs or wrist straps to attach cables or elastic resistance. It’s a bit of a crutch but it is better than not doing anything at all. If possible, I attach them to the wrist but you can place them higher, even above the elbow.

I have put weight in a sturdy canvas bag with wide straps; place on the arms. I have also used the TRX or other similar suspension training around the arms. You will need to be careful not to overdo it, making sure nothing slips out of place when working in a new position.
The plank is another good exercise.
I hope the wrists heal quickly.
