i have a 36 yr. old, male cancer survivor who had a hip replacement in nov. 2013 and has a recent heel fracture from his treatments. what do you suggest for a safe and benefical workout. is stability ball ok?
I agree with Karin, the PT’s guidelines are the foundation. I suspect that strengthening the gluts and hip abductors are at the top of the list. However, strengthening the hip adductors should also be a regular part of your client’s training regimen.
