I’ll be hosting a promo table (10’x10′ space) outdoors at a festival. I’m planning to have promo materials and exercise demos performed. Anyone have any type of “outside the box,” eye-catching ideas/demos that they used that has been successful. I will be promoting a “Ask the Expert” session but was looking for something else to gain peoples interest. Any thoughts or ideas are welcomed, and much appreciated.
You can make it as simple as conducting overhead squat analyses…Have visitors at your table complete an Over Head Squat and then write down their body imbalances and areas for improvement. This analysis displays their strengths, flexibility, and mobility. This increases your added value as a trainer by being able to diagnose their body within the first 5 minutes of meeting them! The customer will then ask you how to fix their imbalance. That’s when you sell your service!…Simple and effective.
You could also do a timed Push-up Test, such as how many push-ups in 30 seconds and post the results on a poster board on your table…Any type of test like this could draw attention.
