I can find resources on cardio recommendations, but little on strength training for post bariatric surgery. I have been working with pre and post bariatric surgery patients for 10 years and most information just says to have them exercise or focus on cardio. In my experience in working with these patients and in tracking body composition, I find dramatic lean body mass loss in those who do not strength train. Just want to know why there is not more of an emphasis on strength training for them.
