I’m not answering; I’m asking the same question. I had ankle fusion surgery 2 years ago; I no longer have a surgeon or a physical therapist. The bone should now be fully fused, so there is no longer any risk that exercises will wreck the surgery, but it is very difficult to come up with exercises that will stretch the muscle in that calf because the ankle doesn’t bend much. All of the people that answered the question just say to consult the surgeon or the physical therapist. Does anyone have any other ideas?
