Its great to think about your recovery. If you haven’t already had the surgery, that’s a great question to ask your physician, orthopedist, podiatrist, etc. They will usually have an aftercare plan for you to follow and can recommend many more exercises than we could that are specific to you, your surgery and your case. They should also have a rehabilitation plan that you will follow to maintain your current fitness level that will include a specific amount of work with a physical therapist or exercise physiologist.
