I would like to know if any of you have actually had calls received from potential new clients that have gotten your name off this site. Curious about the possibilites now that I have completed my profile and taken the class at the Idea Conference. Would love feedback from anyone who has had success with this.
I did, and it was interesting the way it happened. The client of a trainer in Chicago wanted to find a trainer for her mother here in Raleigh where I live. And it was actually the other trainer who was looking on her behalf and had contacted several trainers in the area, pretty much pre-screening them.
And I did the same thing just a little while ago when somebody asked me for a reference in another city where else I would not have known anybody. I made my recommendation to my client based on the profile and on a subsequent exchange, and that’s why it is really important that you have as much information on your profile as possible.
Welcome to FitnessConnect :-)))
Penny, I have had success with the IDEA Fitness Connect site. It is very important that you be consistent with adding information to your site. Share your knowledge with others. Seek out opportunities to network with other fitness professionals. Use the suggestions that IDEA Fitness Connect recommends in order to better market yourself.
Remember that everything that you write on this site could potentially attract new clients or detract clients. Do your best to make it work for you.
I’ve gotten clients from this portal and have no regrets at all. It is a welcomed provision that I feel strongly edifies the industry.
Hope you have the same experience.
N.B. Penny, quando ho letto il suo profilo, ho visto che anche lei ha studiato l’italiano. Non dimenticare di includere che parla l’italiano. Forse qualcuno che parla l’italiano ha bisogno delle sue abilita’.
