I agree with the others in the way of many people confuse hunger with dehydration. Water also has other health benefits such help with skin and energy levels. Dehydration can reek havoc on the body.

Maybe-maybe not….the only sure thing about water is that it keeps your body hydrated and helps with the normal function of other mechanisms that keep your body in an optimum level.

Conventional wisdom says ‘maybe.’ Since drinking during a meal can help fill the belly, that alone may make overeating a little less apt to happen.

I would argue yes- but based on what water does to hydrate the body in order to work out more.

If someone is drinking a lot of fluids that are not good for the body when you workout, their workout will not be 100%. Drinking water allows them to put a maximum amount of effort in as well as aid the body in recovery.

It is especially important for athletes, both endurance and strength.
