I agree with Sandra. I have/had a few Fitour certs and they are a very great addition to add on with, but by no means as your base for a Personal Trainer. I would not recommend you use the Personal Training Cert as your only Personal Trainer Certification, but only as an addition for CEC’s. The exams are generally easy, especially if you have have experience in the field or other exams/certs under your belt. They give you plenty of time and don’t try to trick you through the answers.
I’ve taken a few FitOUR certifications and find them to be a great addition to my fitness education and the exams are moderate. I believe the DVD and textbook manual are concise and thorough and if you study the series of review questions after each section, you will do well!
FitOUR is a Nationally Recognized certification organization and accredited by the American Council on Fitness Education, as well as, seeking accreditation from other more appropriate organizations. You should still check with the fitness facility you plan to work with prior to choosing your certification organization.
