Starting to branch out with my business and I need to increase my toys! I’ve been looking to buy Resistance Bands, Bosu Trainers, Free Weights, etc.. Basically, things I can hall around in my car. Any suggestions on retailers that cater to business owners/trainers? I appreciate any and all suggestions.
I open my Studio few months ago and I research a lot of retailers and Inboxfitness.com has one the best prices in equipment the only thing is that they don’t carry everything but is worth the try, oh and they include free shipping in almost everything. Believe it or not I got a lot of my CAP Barbell Rubber medicine balls from Walmart online and exercise mats, body composition monitor and scale from Omron, a Marcy cardio Mini-cycle exercise bike (something you can use with older people as well), medicine ball rack an they were the same as the ones I was going to buy from other retailer but the difference in pricing was a lot. Good luck!!
So many options. It depends on what you are looking for, what shipping costs run for items to get to you. Perform Better will give special discounts to fitness pros if you call them directly and ask. Ideafit is supposed to offer discounts through Power Systems but they always fight it so I’ve stopped ordering from them. Look up discount codes online for different suppliers too. For DBs a great source is “play it again sam”, or something like that, whatever is in your area. They don’t just sell used equipment but new at a good price.
Best advice is shop around!! Compare shipping costs.
Wish you the best,
Hello Hilary Arentz,
I have purchased equipment from many different sources, online and from brick and mortar places. You most likely want something that will last instead of looking at price alone. The rubber resistance will wear out; so, be sure to get good quality. The shiny coating on weights peels off to become a hazard; I prefer bare metal. I have good luck at fitness factory places.
The ads through mail service are plentiful and of good quality for fair prices.
You may also try to buy used from gyms around your area: public, school, etc.
Quality in and of itself is cost effective when you buy once which should outlast the bargain.
