on nutrition in a wider sense, I recommend the books by Michael Pollan who is a proponent of eating as close to the natural source as possible. What I like about the books is that they will still be relevant even if (and when) some current knowledge about nutrition itself will be replace with more insights. I believe that his message will remain relevant.
