Most of my clients will workout once they arrive at their destination
Getting to the destination is the issue: long sitting hours, food can be an issue (most of my clients bring their own when possible), not sleeping in a bed they are used to, being at the mercy of a traveling schedule can wreck havoc on ones body.
Yes, my clients who travel long distances, and are sitting a lot, do have aches and pains. Many of them have some sort of back pain while traveling, which isn’t surprising from the extended sitting. General stiffness is another issue, but aleviated some by getting up and walking around, staying hydrated, and keeping good posture.
My students always have aches and pains, but as people tend to seek yoga out to deal with those aches that is not surprising. And yes, the parts of the year with a lot of travel bring very distinctive stiffness to the mat.
