Do you offer virtual training?
NO! If you are not there, then it is not Personal Training. I think that this needs to be addressed and is not in our scope of practice. We are PERSONAL TRAINERS, not internet instructors. Fitness instruction that is not being directly supervised is just a source of income and not a service to the public. These programs take money out of the community and reduce the presence of real fitness instructors by making them go to markets that can support them. Billions are spent on video and internet programs that don’t get used. This is wrong. I meet smart educated fitness instructors that need help with online CECs. How can we expect the general public to be able to properly use this information without an in-person instructor?
If you are just about the money, you will do whatever it takes to get more. I have no respect of that type of trainer.
