Do you offer virtual training?
What kind of training VR methods are you looking for exactly?
Check out SLR website https://www.sexlikereal.com as an example or pluralsight also and before you ask if they are any good they both offer a trial so check them out and see for yourself and make your own decisions
I do offer it.. It’s a task. Though in person is best, there are some that can’t afford the in-person prices. So, thus, virtual training.. However, with this model, I find you have to be twice as more engage in order for it to work and be beneficial to the client. You, also, how to make sure the person is a good candidate for the training.
NO! If you are not there, then it is not Personal Training. I think that this needs to be addressed and is not in our scope of practice. We are PERSONAL TRAINERS, not internet instructors. Fitness instruction that is not being directly supervised is just a source of income and not a service to the public. These programs take money out of the community and reduce the presence of real fitness instructors by making them go to markets that can support them. Billions are spent on video and internet programs that don’t get used. This is wrong. I meet smart educated fitness instructors that need help with online CECs. How can we expect the general public to be able to properly use this information without an in-person instructor?
If you are just about the money, you will do whatever it takes to get more. I have no respect of that type of trainer.
I do offer online training. With some clients it takes extra time to make sure they get the exercises correctly, but it’s something that can be done if you can build a strong relationship and trust with them. I also offer group training online, which can be more complex that singles or doubles, but not impossible. I prefer in person training, but if there is no other option available then it’s the best closest alternative.
Best,
Harris
