As a competitive age-grouper,
I would like to get your feedback on whether you follow a training/fitness training plan leading up to your fitness events anywhere from a 1-mile road race, ┬¢ marathons, all the way to ultra-distance events?
I am trying to compile as many different opinions and your answer matters.

I don’t necessarily follow a “training program” per say. I do however have a schedule for when I hit the gym and which muscles I am targeting, in addition to putting in certain days for cardio. That’s what works best for me, but then again everyone is different.
I think having a program will enable you to stay on track to complete your fitness goals.
